Hygge Farms was started by Brandon Park and Paige Berger who wanted to share the wonderful Scandinavian concept of Hygge with the Washington Cannabis Market while offering meticulously grown cannabis products. Both Brandon and Paige have been involved in the cannabis industry since 2009, starting in the medical market and moving into the Washington Recreational Market. After starting Blue Roots Cannabis Brandon and Paige found that they couldn’t devote the attention to the product that they thought it required so they sold their shares of the company and started Hygge Farms. Brandon is a United States Military Veteran and was inspired to become apart of the cannabis industry after using cannabis to help relieve his pain from injuries sustained while serving his country. He has a vast knowledge of cultivating cannabis through his experience of owning and operating commercial cultivations in both the medical and recreational markets. Paige has a degree in Biology form Colorado State University and was drawn to the cannabis industry while working in the medical field and seeing the benefits that cannabis gave to patients. This led to her increasing her cannabis knowledge along side Brandon with the ownership of both medical and recreational cannabis cultivations.
The Beginning
After moving to Washington State and being a part of a large cultivation it became clear to both Paige and Brandon that they needed to start a small full circle farm. They purchased property in north east Washington and built their cannabis cultivation from the ground up together. While doing construction they started to raise farm animals and vegetables. Now they are able to use their waste from the cannabis cultivation to help their farm expand.
