FUll circle farming
All of our plant material deemed waste goes to feed the animals on the farm, or into compost.
Beneficial bugs are released throughout the facility in order to control any pest infestation. We don’t feel that the use of pesticides is beneficial for the cultivation of an indoor mono culture, or beneficial to our customers smoking our cannabis.
The coco used to grow our plants is used as compost in our vegetable garden, orchard and pastures.
We use biodegradable cleaning solutions so all waste water from cleaning gets fed to our pastures to water the grass for the live stock. If we do have any nutrients run off, say a mistake is made then that water is fed to the pasture or our vegetable garden. All of our HVAC water that is collected due to dehumidification is then watered to the pasture or used to water the animals.
LED lights are used in the growing process because they use the lease amount of energy of all the grow lights on the market. Eventually the heat produced by the lights will go to heating a greenhouse so we can grow fresh vegetables all year long.
When available, we use compostable packaging.
Chemotypes
The chemotype is the chemically unique subspecies of plant or micro organism that produces different qualities of THC and CBD. The different terpene chemotypes of cannabis create their flavor profiles. Lemon, floral, and pine are three very prominent terpenes found in cannabis.
